Calligrapher, lettering artist and illustrator Jo Turner lives and works in Devon, England.

With a passion for making marks on paper since childhood Jo has worked with lettering for over 40 years. She studied under a number of master calligraphers and developed her skills gradually, whilst raising a family, attending short courses mostly at West Dean College, Chichester and on becoming accredited as an Adult Education tutor by West Sussex County Council succeeded her mentor, the late John Shyvers (FSSI), tutoring his classes.
